Little Caesars has grown from one Detroit store to the world’s third-largest pizza chain thanks to its speedy service and excellent value. The chain’s ‘Hot N Ready’ pizzas distinguish it from competitors by allowing customers to grab a freshly made pizza without the traditional wait associated with pizza delivery or pick-up orders.
With more than 4,000 locations worldwide, achieving speed, efficiency, and consistency of customer experience is crucial to the brand’s success. Online ordering and delivery are an essential part of the business, and operating in more than 20 countries and hundreds of cities meant working with a wide range of delivery partners.
As an established enterprise chain, Little Caesars needed a partner operating across continents that could integrate their systems seamlessly with whatever delivery partners operate locally.
Streamlines Delivery Operations Globally for Little Caesars
Keith Faigin, Global Vice President of Digital and Business Intelligence, explains that the in-house team could integrate the delivery platform with the restaurant POS when Little Caesars was only using DoorDash. However, as the chain expanded into more territories with more and more delivery providers, creating and maintaining dozens of APIs required outside help.
Keith reveals that one of the criteria for a global partner that could seamlessly integrate multiple delivery platform orders into the POS was the ability to handle APIs.
Deliverect Restaurants ticked all the boxes as a global provider that could deliver unique, secure APIs that allow Little Caesars to accept orders from any channel directly into the POS and manage menus centrally for all delivery platforms.
About why Little Caesars chose Deliverect to partner with, Faigin explains:
“Number one was strong, reliable APIs. That meant that they had a great mechanism for order injection. They (Deliverect) had to have a great mechanism for menu and price distribution to ensure that the right menu with the right items and prices was going to all of our stores nationwide. We also had to ensure they had the right security around their APIs and the global reach to cover all Little Caesars stores worldwide. Deliverect met all of those criteria.”

Deliverect Delivers Speedy Implementation
With relationships and previous integrations already in place with delivery partners across North America, Europe, Asia, The Middle East, and South America, Deliverect was well positioned to deliver the secure APIs Little Caesars needed worldwide.
Deliverect implemented the integrations required to streamline operations without taking up Little Caesars’ in-house resources. The result is hassle-free integrations that allow Little Caesars stores and franchises to work with multiple delivery partners without overcomplicating operations.
All orders flow automatically into the POS system, and the delivery menu is managed from one dashboard before being pushed out to each platform.
“A full API integration is never anything you should take lightly with any company, but we understood the timelines upfront. Everything was on schedule, and we launched on time and on budget, which is great.”
— Keith Faigin, Global Vice President of Digital and Business Intelligence, Little Caesars
Deliverect Provides Integration to Power Little Caesars Unique Pizza Portal
Little Caesars Pizza Portal is a locked, heated locker system that allows customers to collect their orders without waiting for a cashier to become available. The unique system saves time for staff and offers a more convenient experience for customers.
Keith explains that the system is also ideal for delivery drivers who need to quickly identify and collect the proper order without waiting around. However, there needed to be a current system available to ensure the drivers found their order and could access it.
“Deliverect impacted our guest experience because we want to make sure our guests can order and receive their pizza however they want to, whatever is most convenient for them. So if our guests want to order from Grubhub or DoorDash Marketplace, Uber Eats, or anywhere else, we're now there for them. And that process was made so much easier by Deliverect.”
— Keith Faigin, Global Vice President of Digital and Business Intelligence, Little Caesars.
He explains that Deliverect created a custom solution to send third-party delivery drivers a secure locker code so they can access their orders faster than ever. The first system of its kind, the Pizza Portal cements Little Caesars as a global leader in pizza delivery operations.
“It's a win-win for everyone, but it shows how Deliverect was really willing to work with us and partner with us to customize the solution in a way that worked for us.”
— Keith Faigin, Global Vice President of Digital and Business Intelligence, Little Caesars
Deliverect Becomes a Trusted Enterprise Partner
As Little Caesars continues to grow and innovate in the pizza delivery industry, new challenges and opportunities to differentiate are inevitable. Given Deliverect’s track record of delivering successful integrations and new delivery solutions for the brand, Keith is excited to see what the partnership will bring.
“What I value the most about partnering with Deliverect is that they've been here to work with us, that they're a trusted partner, they're a trusted advisor, and when we do find challenges, or more importantly, opportunities, we're able to work on them together.”
— Keith Faigin, Global Vice President of Digital and Business Intelligence, Little Caesars
As trusted partners, Deliverect and Little Caesars can grow together as they work on new ways to improve customer experience, make delivery operations more efficient, and push the boundaries of food delivery into the future.
