Crawford Collective is a hub for excellent food and a dark kitchenoffering food from multiple virtual brands for delivery in Melbourne. General Manager Troy Faleatua explains that Crawford Collective “has been doing deliveries for the last three years since 2019.”
“It’s predominantly a dark kitchen, and we run 12 brands, five of them are virtual brands,” reveals Operations Manager Robert Crawford, who founded the concept.
He reveals the huge numbers the brand can achieve and how it compared to the pandemic when Melbourne went into lockdown: “Approximately we do about 5,500 deliveries a week, and at the height of Covid, we were doing nearly 8,000.”
“The customers are getting more used to ordering online,” Robert adds. “Our online supermarket, which we started up just before the lockdown, has over 350 to 400 deliveries a week.”

Crawford Collective started using Deliverect to cope with the increase in orders as people were forced to order for delivery rather than dining in.
“We used Deliverect just coming into lockdowns and it's been a great help to us,” Robert says, adding, “We use four different delivery partners and now that they're all tied together to Deliverect, it's 100% easier. It's just helped our business out so much.”
