Poke House is an Italian food tech specializing in Poké Bowls, the most famous Hawaiian dish. Vittoria Zanetti and Matteo Pichi founded the company in 2018. Four years later, they are present in six other countries: France, Portugal, the United Kingdom, Romania, Spain, and the United States.
Poke House’s philosophy is to serve fresh and healthy dishes with a Californian twist. The outlets stand out for their pastel tones and furnishings, making customers feel like they are on a Malibu beach. According to data published by Il Sole 24 ore, in 2020, the home food delivery sector reached €2.9 billion, a growth of 84% compared to the previous year. The year 2021 consolidated the trend by recording a further increase of 39%. Alberto Vernazza, the company’s Chief Operating Officer, emphasizes: “For Poke House, the delivery service is fundamental; the brand was born with delivery, and even today, more than 50% of our turnover is based on this sales channel.”
Before turning to Deliverect, Poke House faced several problems related mainly to the flow of online orders.
