But it is no coincidence, as Humberto Pérez, Director of Corporate Operations for Carl’s Jr. Northwest, Mexico, explains, “We have been with the brand in the Northwest for 30 years now. This pioneering spirit has led Carl’s Jr. to take advantage of trends at the right time.

Like many innovative businesses with significant growth objectives, Carl’s Jr. has expanded its operation into food delivery. But delivering food is one thing; giving it perfectly and quickly is another. Carl’s Jr. learned that the hard way; as Perez says, “In the past, order errors resulted in customers returning their orders due to some errors that affect the service.” These mistakes transcended the value of the food, meaning the loss of time and resources and, above all, a blow to the relationship with the consumer. This was something that Carls Jr. could not and would not allow.
